Mount Edgcumbe

Whitsand Bay is a great base for exploring the Rame Peninsula and even the rest of Cornwall. Within walking distance is Rame Head, where you can get some exceptional panoramic views.

A short drive away you can find Mount Edgcumbe country park, which also just happens to be the first landscaped park in Cornwall. Website to the right.

Anthony House is also a short drive away, this became famous worldwide when Tim Burton filmed part of Alice in Wonderland there.

Of course, you cannot forget the main local attraction, the bay itself. Great for walking, surfing, swimming, kite surfing or just chilling out. When the tide is out you can walk up to four miles along the sandy beaches!

If you would like more information on surfing please look on the right for a link to the Discovery surf school.

Whitsand Bay is also home to an amazing golf course, this course has truely some of the best views in the country. Becareful not to lose too many balls on a windy day!

There are also numerous other attractions in Cornwall, to the right we have listed the Eden Project, but there are also many more.
